DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Has a thorough understanding of heavy machinery/equipment and demonstrates a strong problem-solving ability and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replace defective parts.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and regulations in the workplace.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance machine reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff.
• Maintain, repair and overhaul heavy vehicles and industrial heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven 4 - 5 yeasr experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
• Familiarity with various types of machinery and heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications are preferred.
