Job Description

Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant for 2-3 years.

Job Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for performing specific routine accounting operations, such as maintaining the books for firms, processing payroll, and completing other delegated tasks.
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Supply administrative support to accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails and basic bookkeeping. 
  • Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and report.
  • Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Job Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or similar field.
  • Good computer skills with a knowledge of common bookkeeping and spreadsheet programs.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Critical thinker and detail-oriented.
  • Efficient and timely work ethic.
  • Substantial knowledge in accounting terminologies.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities.
